Conover, N.C. – North Carolina-based furniture retailer Boyles Distinctive Furniture will be featured on DIY Network’s second season of television’s first-ever interactive home building television series, Blog Cabin, premiering August 14 at 9 p.m. ET and airing every Thursday at 9 p.m. ET and 9:30 p.m. ET.

“When we were approached by the DIY Network to furnish the Blog Cabin, we were thrilled,” said Chad Hendricks, Executive Vice President for Boyles Distinctive Furniture. “We couldn’t pass up an opportunity to be a part of this breakthrough interactive television series.”

Boyles is furnishing the entire Blog Cabin with furniture, accessories and rugs. Boyles’ designer Amanda Teeter, who designs out of the Boyles showroom at 7215 Smith Corners Blvd in Charlotte, NC, designed the interior for all rooms in the home. She chose specific product that would integrate well with the natural environment and relaxing atmosphere of the lake.

From the floor plan and roof style, all the way down to the bathroom tile, millions logged on to DIYNetwork.com to participate in “citizen design” to help create a waterfront vacation home. Built by a roster of DIY Network’s expert hosts, the process will be documented in the second season of DIY’s hugely successful Blog Cabin, the first-ever interactive home building series. DIY's Blog Cabin is being built in cooperation with Barna Log Homes and Rustic Design Construction Group on a lakefront property provided by Lakefront Estates in Spring City, a bedroom community of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
