BOYLES WINS ARTS AWARD FOR "BEST FURNITURE STORE"

Boyles Distinctive Furniture was awarded the title of Best Furniture Store in the East/Atlantic region at the 18th Annual ARTS (Accessories Resource Team) Awards held in Dallas, TX on January 20,2007. ARTS Awards is the premier awards program for decorative accessories and recognizes excellence among retailers and manufacturers in every region of the United States.

"Boyles is thrilled to win our third ARTS Awards title," said Donald Dilliplane, Boyles Accessory Merchandiser. "It's quite an honor to simply be nominated for an ARTS Award much less to win. Our team works hard to bring unique accessories to our Boyles stores and to display them in creative, inspiring vignettes for our customers. It's terrific to be recognized as a national leader in innovative accessories merchandising."

Boyles was nominated for the Awards by industry executives and contacted by the selection committee when chosen as one of two finalists for the title. Dilliplane was then asked to submit a detailed portfolio to a panel of distinguished judges containing the following:

Photography of Boyles accessories
Descriptions of display concepts
Overview of educational design seminars offered to consumers
Company history
Philosophy of product development
Marketing initiatives, including Boyles being featured on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, The Dr Phil Show and Do It Yourself To the Rescue
Consumer relations programs

"The panel of judges appreciated Boyles vast assortment of styles and price points and the innovative display ideas we incorporate into our showrooms," said Dilliplane. "We mix unique accessories to help our customers visualize how these accents can be cleverly incorporated into their homes. Boyles is more than simply a place to buy furniture. Our clients view us as a true design resource for products and ideas."

Boyles' ARTS Award was presented at the Dallas Market Center Grand Pavilion. More than 700 guests attended the ceremony. Presenters for the evening were top designers including Cindy Proctor of HGTV's Trading Spaces, David Gebhart, President of Global Views and industry expert Greg O'Neal of Philosophy Design.
