Furniture Delivery and Returns

Delivery Process

A. Professional In-Home Delivery service is available through one of our recommended service providers. The estimated charges for delivery will be included on your sales receipt.

B. Boyles is not responsible for manufacturer changes in delivery dates for special order products.

C. Customers must report any scratches, dents, chips, tears, soil, etc. by noting discrepancies on the carrier delivery document and notifying Boyles Customer Service within 24 hours of delivery. If you desire to return an item for a permitted reason, you may not keep the item while your claim is being processed.

D. You will be required to pay a re-delivery fee if you cancel your delivery. Delivery fees are non-refundable.

E. Deliveries will be assigned a time window, but due to traffic conditions, weather, truck performance, and other conditions beyond our control, we cannot guarantee specific times for delivery. Please arrange to have a designated person available to inspect and accept delivery if you cannot be present. If no one is home when we attempt to deliver per the scheduled date and time, you will be charged a re-delivery fee. Boyles cannot be responsible if conditions beyond our control arise which prevent the delivery from being made at the scheduled time.

F. Delivery personnel are not responsible for the installation or connection of electronic equipment in the furniture being delivered.

Order Changes, Refunds, and Cancellations

A. Cancellations or changes to your order will be permitted only if Boyles can do so with the manufacturer at no charge, or you pre-pay any charges assessed by the manufacturer.

B. Completed customer orders not picked up or delivered in 30 days must be paid in full. Storage charges will accrue at 3% of the total invoiced amount per month, prorated for partial month storage. Maximum storage period is six months, after which your order will be cancelled, all payments will be forfeited and you will have no right to a refund.

C. Orders placed with Boyles are submitted to the manufacturer on your behalf. At this point, Boyles is financially obligated to purchase the items from the manufacturer. Therefore, we are only able to accept order cancellations within 24 hours from the time the order was placed. Any exception to our cancellation policy will be solely at Boyles’s discretion. In the event we accept a cancellation beyond the 24-hour period, the order will be subject to restocking fee of 50% of the purchase price as well as any transportation charges incurred with the order.

D. Products purchased from Boyles using “COM” (customer’s own material) cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Damaged and Defective Returns at Time of Delivery

If the return is a result of damage or defect at the time of delivery, prior to acceptance, we will refund the full cost of the merchandise and shipping charges. In the event that any of these occur, all details of the damage or defect need to be clearly communicated to Boyles immediately upon your inspection of the product. If upon inspection at the time of delivery and before acceptance your product is damaged, please refuse the shipment and contact Boyles’ Customer Service immediately.

Damage or Defects found after Delivery and Inspection

If there is concealed damage or defects found after acceptance from carrier: 1) Please DO NOT discard any shipping materials such as shipping boxes, packing materials, or pallet that the item may have been delivered on. 2) Please DO NOT ship the item back to Boyles without first being instructed to do so.

Immediately contact Boyles to report the issue. Please indicate in details of packaging conditions, delivery method, and description of the damage. If possible, please take detailed pictures showing the affected area(s). We will work diligently to resolve any issues. Boyles reserves the right to repair or replace a damaged or defective item in lieu of a refund.

Rugs Delivery and Returns

Shipping Process

Once the rug is purchased, you will receive an order confirmation email. The order will be processed within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) and you will receive an email notifying you that the order has been processed. The final email you receive will provide the product name, delivery carrier, and a tracking number. For more information on your order please contact us. Please keep in mind that holidays may result in delays.

Shipping Costs

Free shipping applies only to a rug with a purchase price (per unit) of $100 or greater. A rug with a purchase price (per unit) less than $100 will incur a $20 shipping fee.

Shipping Method

Most of our rugs are shipped directly from the manufacturer. Selection of the delivery carrier is made by the manufacturer. A majority of manufacturers ship products using ground delivery via UPS and FedEx. Visit and for more details. Custom ordered rugs may require a different shipping method. Returns Process

If you desire to return your undamaged and unused rug within 30 days of delivery date, please complete the following instructions: 1) Contact us for the “Return Authorization #” (RA#) as well as to confirm the return address. Please include the RA#, clearly on the outside packaging. 2) Re-package the product in its original packaging if possible. If you no longer have the original packaging, you must package the item(s) in its equivalent to how it was delivered. 3) Select a carrier. We recommend using UPS or FedEx. IMPORTANT: We recommend that you purchase insurance with your selected carrier in order to protect yourself from product damage or actual loss of the item while it is in transit. We are not responsible for products that are damaged while in transit and we will not accept any damaged items. You are responsible for return shipment expenses. 4) Once the returned item is received, it will be inspected and we will notify you of any refund. Please allow for 5-7 business days from the date of processing your return for your refund to be issued.

**No Returns on Discontinued, Custom, or One of a Kind rugs.

**Rug cannot be returned to store locations but have to be shipped directly to manufacturer.


Boyles reserves the right to make changes to these terms regarding furniture and rug delivery and returns any time.

These terms (i) set forth Boyles’ and your obligations with respect to the matters addressed herein and (ii) are governed by North Carolina law.
